Hyderabad is home to a rich diversity of birdlife, from local species to migratory visitors. But these birds face growing threatskite strings, plastic waste, shrinking habitats, and pollution.

To protect them, Animal Warriors Conservation Society (AWCS) established Telangana’s first Bird Rehabilitation Center, rescuing and treating hundreds of injured and orphaned birds every year while spreading awareness about conservation.
